The last issue as a PP to include a list of mines was 1887, After that the List of Mines although a
government publication was not published as a PP, similarly the List of Quarries. The NEIMME at
Newcastle has a very good set (almost complete I think) of Mineral Statistics/List of Mines.

Unfortunately, with a few exceptions, the List of Quarries and List of Mines weren't Parliamentary
papers, so they aren't included in the online collection that Peter mentioned. The exception is
that, in its early years (the 1870s and 1880s, I think), the List of Mines was a supplement to the
Mineral Statistics which was a Parliamentary paper, so those years will be available.
These are the sort of things that I would have expected to find on Google Books, but they aren't
there. In fact, Google seems to be reluctant to include any British official publications, even if
they're long out of copyright.
