You can use it to do almost anything, but the price is a detailed
knowledge of GAIA internals. Initially I think we we're wondering about
replacing GAIA.pm with a SAMP (or PLASTIC as it was back then)
implementation. In principle (untested) that would just be a case of
replacing pushes of Tcl fragments over sockets with ones sent using SAMP.
