Hi Joe
When you specify a 1st level model and select the scans, what happens?
You should be able to select 60 scans here, and if not, something is
going wrong.
In the default SPM file selection box is a 1, which corresponds to the
volumes selected for 4d files. If you change this to something like
1:60 (or 1:1000...as long as it's larger than 60), then you should see
each of the 60 volumes listed on a separate line of the file selection
window, and when you select them, you should have 60 files selected.
If only 30 volumes are showing up, it suggests that the 4d file only
has 30 scans in it....and hence, you only get 30 rows in your design
matrix.
