Subject: Re: [PSCI-COM] Where do science teachers look for good
resources?
Hi Ailsa,
I have been collecting online resources for a while, and listing them
all on our website.
We are in the process of redeveloping our website and re-launch next
Monday. The old and slightly out of date version is here:
www.well.ox.ac.uk/useful_links.shtml
I have also copied/pasted the four pages of links below. But once we
have re-launched, I will circulate details of the new site.
I hope it's of some use!
Annabel

How unique are you?
http://uniqueness.well.ox.ac.uk
'How unique are you?' was launched as part of National Science and
Engineering Week 2009.
The project looks at a number of traits that scientists currently think
are partly controlled by your DNA, so you may have inherited them from
your parents. We explain each trait and what we know about the genetic
and environmental influences controlling it. After you have explored
the traits, you have the opportunity to test which traits you have and
investigate whether people from different parts of the country share
your combination of traits. You can also find out how many people who
have taken part in the survey have the same combination of traits as
you. In other words, 'How unique are you?'
