Hello everyone,
I am delighted to announce the launch of http://www.genesareus.org, our
new education website for teaching primary and secondary school children
about genetics.
Short films provide the opportunity for pupils to meet children their age with
genetic disorders, while the accompanying materials -- including interactive
whiteboard activities, discussion guides, ready-made assemblies and a unique
animation explaining what ‘genes’ means -- help teachers to deliver inspiring
lessons targeted at key areas of the national curriculum.
We'd love the resources to be used as widely as possible, so please pass the
link on to any teachers who you think might be interested.
Best wishes,
Ailsa Taylor
