Hi Everyone
There has been lots of chat about the various merits of different sodas and
different sweets. This is an area that is ripe for actually doing some
experimentation. It is very easy to set up a series of different comparisons
that will reveal what is actually more or less important (for instance if
you can't get mentos then try rock salt...).
If you are interested in why and what works best I have found a clip of
Mythbusters examining this subject. It turns out that statements like "diet
soda is less sticky" or "such and such has more fizz" don't do this
fascinating subject justice:

If you don't have the time to watch it all check out 7.30mins for a quick
summary.
