JISC SIS Landscape Study 2009
UKOLN is collecting evidence for this JISC-funded study, which aims to
give a snapshot view of the way the UK academic sector is using Web 2.0
tools and services in the acedemic and professional workplace.

As well as JISC funded/developed services (e.g. JORUM, JISCmail,
ShareGeo, The Depot), the sector is increasingly using other available
services (blogs, Twitter, LinkIn, LibraryThing, GoogleDocs, Second Life,
etc.) for a variety of purposes, as well as 'mashups' where
combinations of services and content are used to provide new services or
to provide added value to data already held.

If you're a lecturer, researcher or administrator using one or more Web
2.0 tools or services, then we'd like to hear from you. Please visit our
blog to find out more about the study, and leave your comments on the
Pages listed in the left-hand sidebar.

We'll be writing up some case studies too, so if you are using a range
of Web 2.0 services in your work and would be interested in being a case
study, please contact us.

We only have a couple of months to collect this evidence, so please take
a look now and add your thoughts. And as a thank you, you might be a
lucky winner in our draw for a some Amazon vouchers.

We'd also be grateful if you could pass this request on to colleagues in
your own and other institutions. Thank you.
