Greetings Peter. The Aspen, Colorado, USA, school system has a long standing
program that is especially strong in middle school (US grades 5-8) and I
believe the high school (grades 9-12)has strands as well. For information on
the middle school program and who to contact in the high school, contact Mr.
Tom Heald, Principal, Aspen Middle School ([log in to unmask]).

Subject: Outdoor education curriculum ?
Hi Outres, I am currently doing some research on formalised outdoor
education and outdoor recreation curricula for senior secondary school
students. I am aware of the Australian curricula that exists and it has
been interesting to compare and contrast those course documents.
Is there any such senior secondary education courses in other countries? I
would very much like to hear from anyone who knows of formal outdoor
education course in existence in places other than Australia.
Thanks for your help.
