This message is of direct interest to researchers based in Europe only
The European ASTRONET Infrastructure Roadmap was published last year and
is available at:
http://www.astronet-eu.org/IMG/pdf/Astronet-Book.pdf
It is a strategic plan for European Astronomy and contains a significant part
concerned with Laboratory and Theoretical Astrophysics/Astrochemistry. The
possibility of an extension is being explored. With this in mind, it would be
helpful to know .....
- of any ways in which the Roadmap is influencing decision-making
- the most urgent specific follow-on actions, from now until the end
of 2010, where ASTRONET involvement would be desirable or essential, with
an indication of the form this action might take.
I would be pleased to receive any contributions on this, preferably within the
next few days. Thanks.
