(Apologies for cross postings)
Dear all,
I would appreciate it if you could bring the following to the attention of
persons who may be interested.
A Postdoctoral position in theoretical/computational chemistry is available in
the group of dr. Anthony JHM Meijer in the Department of Chemistry at the
University of Sheffield from 1 Oct 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter.
This EPSRC-funded research project involves the development of time-dependent
wave packet methods and the implementation of such methods into the MCTDH
programme, whereby implementation of the development methods on parallel
computers will form an integral part of the approach. The successful
candidate should have a PhD in theoretical chemistry or a related discipline
(or have equivalent experience) with a strong background in scientific
computing and programming. This project is carried out as part of a
collaborative program with groups at Birmingham (Dr. Graham Worth)
and Cambridge (Dr. Stuart Althorpe).
Full details of the project and how to make an application are given at
http://www.shef.ac.uk/jobs/cms_results_details.php?file=job_list&ID=6856&start=1
The deadline for applications is 31 July 2009. Informal inquiries to be
directed to me at the below emailaddress.
Greetings,
Anthony Meijer
