Dear colleagues
2010 subscription prices for Royal Society of Chemistry journals, magazines, databases and packages are now available at: <http://www.rsc.org/Publishing/librarians/News/2010_prices.asp>.
Sensitive to the current economic climate, we have kept price rises to a minimum, while maintaining a substantial increase in the volume of content we are publishing year on year. In fact, 2008 saw the volume of published material rise by more than 25%, with this impressive growth rate set to continue throughout 2009 and beyond. This growth is due to the increasing number of international scientists who are choosing to submit their research to RSC journals - a testament to the reputation we have for the speed and quality of service that we offer to our authors.
ISI(r) citation data released in June 2009 show that our impact factors continue to rise, and the average impact factor for the RSC portfolio now stands at 4.7.
Additional content has also been delivered through the publication of our new journal titles Energy & Environmental Science (launched 2008), Analytical Methods, Integrative Biology, Metallomics and Nanoscale (2009). The recently announced Polymer Chemistry will be the first new title for 2010, and you can expect further announcements over the coming months.
