I'm trying to get things started on some very simple interactives for
the education pages our website and am looking for recommendations from
other museums for developers / software.
The intended audience for the interactives is teachers who could use
them on interactive whiteboards. Potential ideas include:
- hot spots over paintings to ask questions / provide more info (could
be audio clips)
- very simple sorting activities eg past and present objects
- more sophisticated sorting / grouping activities that require a number
of items to be grouped together to form a set
Our budget is very limited. Many of these types of activities can be
produced using standard interactive whiteboard software which we will
have in our new Education Centre. However, what I need (and am not aware
whether exists) is a way that this can be formatted and used as an
independent web interactive back in school. Is this something that
anybody has come across?
If you can spare a few moments to pass on any ideas / suggestions /
experiences it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
Helen
