Thanks for the link - I have read that.
My issue was more to do with the confidentiality point and their 'company
policy' that the referee clearly wasn't aware of until consulting HR!
I intend to disclose, just wanted to see if anyone had been in a similar
situation - with a company seemingly clutching at straws.
