Open Dress Rehearsal - Rock A My Soul
Wednesday 29th July at 15.00 in the Lecture Theatre, V&A
As some of you know, the Mary Wilson collection (Supremes Exhibition) is
currently on tour and its next stop is the Fashion Museum in Bath.
As part of their family programme, they have invited Little Lights Theatre
to perform 'Rock A My Soul' on the weekend of the 1st & 2nd August. This
show was performed for over 1700 people last year, while the exhibition was
here, and is an interpretive piece about the rise of Motown records against
a background of Civil Rights Activism...and how the era inspired those who
were buying the Supremes records.
The actors have been rehearsing this week, and are due to do their final
dress rehearsal on Wednesday 29th July at 15.00 in the Lecture Theatre. It
would be lovely to see you all there if you have the time. Little Lights
generally perform these plays on the weekends. The performance should last
no longer than 25 min.
If you are interested please meet me at the Reception Desk in the SACKLER
CENTRE FOR ARTS EDUCATION AT THE V&A at 14.45 PROMPT!!
