As a member of the Warwick Medical School hub of the West Midlands Research Design Service, you will work under the direction of Dr Tim Friede, Associate Professor of Medical Statistics, and Professor Nigel Stallard, Professor of Medical Statistics and Director of the Warwick hub, to provide statistical support to health related research and contribute to methodological research in medical statistics. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early-career statistician to gain practical experience in the application and development of cutting-edge statistical methodology.
You will possess a PhD (or equivalent) in statistics, or have a MSc and be working towards a PhD in statistics and have the ability to work with local health professionals in developing their research interests. You will also have the interest and expertise in the development of innovative statistical methodology for clinical trial design and analysis. This is primarily a research post, but there will be opportunities for involvement in the research training of health professionals and postgraduate students.
