Hi SPM users,
Has anyone had luck finding or writing a script to batch PPI analysis in
SPM5? I've seen a few emails in the archive with similar requests, but
haven't yet been able to figure out a faster way to run this type of analysis.
I'm currently running a PPI analysis with 12 subjects, who had 2 sessions of
scanning each, and a 2-level Psychological task variable. So far I've
pretty much been following the processing stream suggested in the newer PPI
document that Darren Gitelman posted to this mailing list a few months
ago... Extract VOI timecourses, then create regressors, and batch steps for
first- and second- level stats. Using 1 VOI / seed region, I ended up
making 8 1st-level models per subject, so this process took a long time.
I'd like to test for interactions using other seed regions, but wanted to
ask if there might be a more efficient way to run the analysis.
If anyone has had success with batching any of the steps (especially VOI
extraction, and making regressors with the PPI tool), I would really
appreciate any advice you might have. Ideally I'd like to batch across
several subjects, but it'd be very helpful to be able to batch steps across
several VOIs or even just across several Psychological tasks in the PPI
tool. My major problem is probably a lack of Matlab skills, but I would be
very grateful if someone with superior programming knowledge might not mind
to help.
Thank you for any insights!
