At least that is what I saw.
That and a series of opening stanzas peculiarly suggestive of haiku.
Something this delicate must grab at once or it will not grab at all:

And it does, and is damn near perfect thereafter, a shimmery beautiful
little thing. Southerly chose a nice one.
