I agree its very small text, but I understand that stops the document
from being even larger than it already is.
There is an interesting comparison of the GACs and SGVs for phenol and
cadmium as the SGVs were released shortly before publication of the LQM
document.

Hi,
Nik, I think the new GAC report should be with all paid customers this
week as far as LQM have indicated to me.
With regards chromium, until I have seen the new GAC (and SGV?) I cannot
comment on how low the new GAC value is but it seems to me that improved
sampling and analysis methods are required to ensure what CrVI and CrIII
measurements made in the laboratory are representative of the chromium
speciation in the soil at the site. At that point, derivation of a CrVI
GAC and a CrIII GAC can then be performed to compare with the detected
concentrations and a Cr total will be irrelevant. However, as I
understand it there is currently an uncertainty with regards the
analysis method and interconversions between CrIII and CrVI at the site
and also in the lab?
