We will probably go for UniOfWestminster, which we you on YouTube etc.
Don't know what we had in May, but we're currently at 1,495, and have
asked FaceBook to transfer the 3000+ people in our main UoW group across
to our page - a tactic which may help others get over the threshold?

Subject: Vanity URLs for Facebook pages
I know that for some Facebook is the spawn of the devil and is trying to
make Microsoft respectable (but not yet succeeded, I suspect). But even
those who live down below are entitled to a short URL. So is anyone
planning to get a vanity URL for their institutional presence in
FaceBook on Saturday? And if so, what form of name are you going for?
Further details at:

Brian
PS You'll need to have at least 1,000 existing fans to get a vanity URL
- so if you were late setting up such a page you'll miss out.
