Dear Eric,
before you can submit jobs via spm_jobman, you have to set up defaults
and SPM configuration. This is usually done when you start SPM, but if
you run spm_jobman from a script, you have to do this on your own:
0) Optional: edit your spm_defaults.m file and set
defaults.cmdline = true; % tell SPM that it should not try to open the
menu/interactive window
1) start MATLAB (useful options are -nodisplay or -nodesktop).
2) within MATLAB, run
spm('defaults',YOURMODALITY); % replace YOURMODALITY with the correct
modality
spm_jobman('initcfg');
3) run your script/job
Hope this helps,
Volkmar
Good day,
I was wondering if anyone can help shed light on an error I encountered
while
using spm_jobman to run a batch file I created in SPM8 using the batch
utility.
The file first changes to the subject's fmri data directory,
realigns+unwraps it
and then coregisters it. The file works fine when I run it through the SPM
batch dialog. However, when I ran spm_jobman in matlab without a GUI
(matlab -nodesktop -nosplash), all that SPM does it change the
directory. At
the bottom of this email you can find output from MATLAB.
I would be grateful for any insight you can provide.
