Sounds like all the word are mixed about - I wouldtthink that the signal
is inhibited somewhere around the cervical region and therefore she has
nerve root problems, thus causing diminished grip etc. Would the next
step be nerve conduction studies? I have a super duper clinician coming
into a meeting with me in 5 mins who specialises in such things may be
able to say more in a bit..........

I have a client with funicular myelosis (a B12 deficiency syndrome.) .
MRI shows "inhanced signal on three scans in the posterior part of the
spine" (I am working in Hungary the Drs English isnt perfect). She is
an editor, spends long stretches at PC, this morning she has noticed her
grip being affected and has started to drop things. I can t find much re
progression/prognosis on googling. Anyone know anything?
Best Wishes
Kath
