Grade 6/7: Pro rata to £29,705 to £42,351 per annum
Falmouth is widely recognised as one of the UK's leading centres for
the study of photography. Our Press & Editorial Photography degree is
designed to mirror the real world of editorial and press photography -
the ability to take a good picture is not enough. Students are given
the support, knowledge and technical know-how to develop an eye for
opportunity and to succeed in this challenging environment.
We are looking to recruit a 0.5 lecturer or senior lecturer to join
the course team. Experience of editorial photography and picture
editing is a minimum requirement, while the ideal candidate will
benefit from a well established career in one or both of these fields.
An ongoing and demonstrable commitment to research and/or professional
practice in editorial, photojournalism or documentary photography is
also essential for this role, along with some experience of teaching
within a HE environment.
A relevant accredited post graduate teaching qualification and full IT
skills required in running a picture desk would be advantageous.

Scheme. Subsidised local transport is available dependent on working
hours.
