Journal Manager
Economica
Salary: £31,711 - £38,391 pa incl. with potential to progress to
£41,320 pa incl. Pro rata to 28hrs per week.
Part time for 28hrs per week
Economica is an academic journal housed in one of the LSE's research
centres. It is produced quarterly and publishes approximately 35
articles and 25 book reviews per volume. It also runs special events,
including an annual lecture from a distinguished economist and
academic conferences. We are looking for a journal manager to work
with the team of editors and be responsible for the day-to-day
administration.
You should be educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent,
have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment, be
able to work in a team and have a flexible approach. Previous office
experience is essential. Previous university experience and publishing
experience (particularly Editorial Express) are both desirable.
