You will have detailed knowledge of aspects of Media Studies, in
particular the ability to lead, teach and develop the new Journalism
Programme, and to contribute to the Media Production and Media Studies
programmes. A priority will be given to radio production experts.
You will undertake teaching and curriculum development in the Film and
Media Studies Subject Area, part of the Film, Media and Creative
Writing Subject Group within the School of Humanities, Faculty of
Arts, Design and Technology, and contribute to wider initiatives
across the School and Faculty. This will be underpinned by a strong
commitment to research/professional practice. Commitment to the
development of a diverse range of students and effective interaction
with colleagues at all levels will be key priorities.
