This piece of work by Mike Salter for his 2008-9 MESci dissertation may be worthy of consideration by MDSG for a student prize. Some of the stuff is semi-confidential for Parys Mountain, so I would appreciate it if you did not distribute beyond necessity.

Dear all,
I have received a number of submissions of student work for prizes to be
awarded at the upcoming Minerals Deposit Studies Group Conference, 2-4
January 08. Due to difficulties some people have had getting material to me
I am holding the deadline open until Monday 10th December, but this is the
final deadline.
If you have any example of excellent student work that you think would be
