Call for articles
Social & Public Policy Review is an international peer reviewed journal that
publishes high quality articles on themes regarding the broad spectrum of
social and public policy. This includes, but is not exhausted by: policy design
and decision-making, the role of the private sector in delivering social and
public policy programmes, globalisation and policy, social divisions and policy,
the normative foundations of policy, comparative analyses of policy, scholarly
reviews of particular policy initiatives, policy implementation and policy
evaluation. All substantive areas of social and public policy are relevant to the
concerns of the journal, including, inter alia: criminal justice, social security,
health care, education, economic policy, the environment, the regulation of
financial markets, corporate governance, fiscal policy, social work and local
regeneration.
Social & Public Policy Review is a fully peer reviewed, English language, online
journal that is published twice a year. It is advised by an international and
multi-disciplinary Advisory Board. The journal publishes articles of the highest
international standard and, from time to time, commissions leading researchers
and scholars to contribute articles and to edit themed editions.
Each edition publishes three or four articles of between 6,000 and 10,000
words. Please check that your article conforms to the requirements set out in
the author guidelines.
