Subject: Your opinion is very important - AT Users' Requirement Analysis
Dear Colleague,
Following your involvement in the Health and eInclusion sector, you may have a professional interest in the field of Assistive Technology. I am therefore contacting you with the request to participate in the "MARE User Requirement Analysis" for the assessment of assistive technology present and future trends, via a brief questionnaire (6 questions). MARE is a project funded by the European Commission under FP7 ICT. The project has several objectives:
* Define ICT AT environment and maturity of ICT AT market;
* Develop a Technology Foresight Model to identify AT future trends responding to a User Centred Approach;
* Formulate technology foresight recommendations for AT future development for interested stakeholders;
* Create a Forum for Experts and Users to discuss the AT trends.
One of the key tasks of the project consists in collecting and analyzing the end users' and other interested parties' needs and requirements. Therefore, a questionnaire was elaborated (in English, Spanish and Italian) and divided into three parts: End users, Professional users, Public authorities. Moreover, the Forum has been created for discussions, debates, exchange of opinions and information about the field of AT, where 26 Experts and 19 User communities are taking part in.
You are invited to spend a few minutes to complete anonymous questionnaire on-line on the Web www.mareproject.eu<http://www.mareproject.eu/>, for the cluster of your main activity. Your contribution is important, because it will help us to better identify the objectives and expected deliverables of future AT development and the improvements of this sector. Please ignore this mail, if you have already replied to our questionnaire and we apologize for any double mailing.
We thank you in advance for your participation, which we hope to receive as soon as possible. Also, we kindly invite you, if possible, to involve and forward this mail to other potential interested users asking them to complete the questionnaire and/or could you give us indications of who could be interested in completing the survey? We hope to get first feedback to arrange the second questionnaire for the foresight analysis. Please, let us know, if you are interested in the outcome from the responses received in the first stage.
Explanations are given on the website, but please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any additional information.
