Sorry folks, seems my clever attempts at not doing an attachment for the
'Urban Frontiers' walk in Glasgow didn't work. So, for those who are
interested and local to Glasgow, the East End walk details are as
follows:
Saturday June 20, meeting at 1.30pm at Mono (cafe and music store at
Kings Court - across from the car park at St Enoch's shopping centre).
The walk will take in the sights and sites of 'regeneration' and local
history in Glasgow - everything from Merchant City Cinzano umbrellas to
the destruction of Paddy's market and the disaster that looms in
Dalmarnock with the Commonwealth Games Athlete's Village.
Your guides will be: Neil Gray (Variant Magazine), Bob Hamilton (City
Strolls), John Couzins (radical historian), and a bit from me as well.
