Hello,
Does anyone have experience simulating data with the following general
scenario?
1. Call WinBUGS from R using a sample size of 1, data = x1
2. Get the MCMC output and a summary statistic of one parameter, call
this statistic x2
3. Call WinBUGS from R using sample size of 2, data = x1, x2
4. Continue until we achieve a sample size of n
5. Repeat steps 1-4 M times.
Basically, I’m trying to simulate M clinical trials where patients are enrolled
sequentially, and the dose given to patient j depends on the mcmc output of
the previously treated j-1 patients. I usually write the codes in FORTRAN but I
was wondering if this is achievable with R2WinBUGS.
Thanks,
Mourad
