Professorial lecture
The HUMAN in Human-Computer Interaction
Professor Paul van Schaik
Wednesday 10 June 2009, 6.30-8.00pm
Paul's work as a psychologist concentrates on human-computer interaction.
His lecture will explore how people's use of interactive computer systems is
studied to understand both the cognitive and motivational mechanisms of
computer use. This understanding ultimately leads to improving system design and an enhanced experience for users.
Everyone's welcome
The lecture is free of charge and open to all. It will be held in the Centuria Building off Victoria Road on the University campus.
