We are looking for a graduate wishing to gain relevant work experience prior to
taking a post-graduate qualification in Records Management/Archive
Administration.
The County Records Management Service looks after Warwickshire County
Council’s semi and non-current records. The service is based in warehouse and
office accommodation a very short drive from Warwick town centre. Our
internal service provides records management, storage, delivery and advice
services to a variety of departments within Warwickshire County Council.
This post will form part of the small County Records Management team. We
are looking for a Records Management Clerk with good communication skills
and a commitment to delivering a high quality service to Warwickshire County
Council staff. You will contribute to the general running of the service
through inputting record information onto the database, retrieving and
delivering records to locations in Warwick, and answering general staff queries
by telephone and email. You will also have the opportunity to gain further
records management knowledge and experience through meeting other
relevant council information management staff, supporting the work of the
Records Manager and attending professional meetings and conferences.
You will need to have a level of physical fitness to enable you to lift and carry
documents on a daily basis from the Records Management Service Store
around the weight of 10kg. A full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle in
order to make deliveries within the county area would also be desirable.
