Salary based on experience and qualification
We are seeking an experienced Bioinformaticist to join the Diabetes Epidemiology and Pharmacogenetics Research group within the School of Medicine. The post holder will be responsible for managing large volumes of data from our genome wide association studies and other large scale projects and will work with the rest of the team on data analysis and interpretation. The post holder will be expected to have an MSc or higher degree in computing, bioinformatics, statistical genetics or a biomedical science and will have experience in bioinformatics and programming.
This position is full-time and is available for two years in the first instance.
