Applications are invited for the following three four-year PhD Fellowships
within the discipline of statistics in the School of Mathematical Sciences,
University College Dublin.
`Probabilistic inference for statistical models with intractable normalising
constants' supervised by Professor Nial Friel. This project is funded by Science
Foundation Ireland under the Research Frontiers Programme.
`Model-based statistical methods for mixed-mode metabolomic data'
supervised by Dr. Claire Gormley. This project is funded by Science Foundation
Ireland under the Research Frontiers Programme.
`Probabilistic models for network data analysis' supervised by Professor
Brendan Murphy. This project is funded by CLIQUE a large multidisciplinary
project on graph and network data analysis, funded by Science Foundation
Ireland under the Strategic Research Cluster scheme.
Applicants must have a good honours primary degree in statistics,
mathematics or an equivalent numerate discipline. Postgraduate experience at
Masters level is desirable but not essential.
