One scholarship is available to study towards a Ph.D. in statistics in the
School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin. The
scholarship is available from 1st September 2009, with funding until 31st
December 2012.
They are part of a Science Foundation Ireland funded project STATICA
(Statistical Methods
in ICT Applications) and will involve working on a research project in close
collaboration
with researchers in statistics and computer science. Details of the

The scholarship includes a tax-free stipend of €18,000 per year, rising to
