The MRC Centre for Transplantation wishes to appoint an experienced Biostatistician/Bioinformatician to join its research team based at the Guy's Campus of King's College London. The Centre has a rapidly expanding set of research projects and this is an opportunity for a suitably qualified and motivated individual to become an integral part of the establishment and running of this research. You will help to give the Centre the strength in biostatistics and data management to make the most of these exciting data and to help build a bridge between statistical and molecular genetics. The work will give added value to a large number of cutting edge research projects. There will be opportunities for personal academic development.
The post will entail statistical data analysis, statistical consultancy, and data management. Areas of application include genomewide association studies, expression, immunology and cell biology.
You should have a PhD in a relevant subject area and experience of handling and analysing scientific data and be able to collaborate and communicate with a range of different staff with different areas of expertise.
The salary will be on grade 7: £39,974 to £47,253 per annum, inclusive of £2,323 London Allowance.
