Interdisciplinary PhD Studentships in Music (and Maths)
Open University, Based in Milton Keynes
The Open University offers up to two full-time, music related 3 year PhD
studentships (to start 1 October 2009). We would welcome applications for
Music Computing projects that include Mathematics and/or Statistics and
some of the following or related topics.
Collaborative Music Applications
Multi-Touch Surface Interfaces
Evolutionary Music Computing
Markov Chains
Cellular Automata
Music Information Retrieval
Music, Mood and Emotion
