Our CRO client based in Scotland is looking for a senior statistician to join an existing team. You will be responsible for all aspects of trial analysis from statistical analysis through to writing of statistical reports. You will additionally be involved in working with a SAS programmer to produce tables, listings and graphs in support of the analysis as appropriate. You will be responsible for mentoring less experienced statisticians in the team and should be confident and professional in dealings with clients, as you will also be required to represent the company at client meetings.
Experience required:
You will be qualified to Degree and MSc level in a Mathematics / Statistics related discipline with a strong statistical background.
Candidates who are further qualified to PhD level in a mathematics / statistics subject will be preferred but not required
You will have at least 5 years prior pharmaceutical industry experience working for a CRO or Pharma company. In this instance pure academic experienced statisticians will not be suitable
Excellent hands on skills with SAS and a good level of proficiency with SAS/Base, SAS/Macros and SAS/Stat
Confident presenter who is able to run meetings with clients
Someone who can inspire the best in others and mentor / train more junior statisticians
