I was wondering more about the lower measurements e.g. why is a smaller
step <150mm not advised?
Thanks for your reply

The Approved Document M is just a guide.
Nothing to stop the use of 180mm or 145mm providing you can explain why.

sorry to bother you on a friday afternoon, but i was wondering if anyone
could tell me why according to part M and other documentation the rise
of a step should be 150mm or 170mm?
Many Thanks
