Hello,
On a diversity point ... I've always found 'No food and drink' signs
rather annoying as a diabetic.
Brings back memories of secretly snacking behind large books!!
Maybe something more along the lines of not spilling or damaging papers
/ books would be more friendly.
Just a thought

Its a very sensible edict; food and drink can be spilled, smeared, etc
onto artefacts / documents, causing all manner of short and long term
problems. It may also attract insects. Besides which, a search room is
not an eatery.
