Yes, we evaluated the situation and found that it is not necessary to
rollback the release.

What we would like to achieve is a phased rollout were sites give early
life support to certain components. I.e. a site volonteers to be among the
first to update and expose it to the production workflow (this includes
giving some extra attention to the component and being prepared for an
eventual uninstall of the rpms).
The problem we have in certification is that certain bugs can only be
detected if the component is being exposed to the real production
workflow.
