I am involved in the development of a disability-related information and communication study across countries and regions for which evidence-based data and studies in any of the following would be most helpful, especially for under-resourced countries:
*Sign Language

Braille
1) need for Brailled information, gaps, availability of services

1) need for accessible print media, gaps
2) best practices/guidelines for media depiction of persons with disabilities
Information
1) need for consumers to locate information, gaps and barriers
2) best practices
Individual Assistive Technology for information and communication
1. need for hearing aids, augmentative communications, tech for low vision, gaps
2. need for trained clinicians; need for end user training

Information and Communication Technology
