As part of an expansion and development of transport research and
scholarship, the Centre for Transport & Society at the University of the
West of England is pleased to invite applications for a PhD studentship.
The studentship will be offered to a well-qualified applicant proposing an
innovative and exciting topic appropriate for PhD study. Applicants should
have a good honours degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) or a Masters degree
in an appropriate section (e.g. transport, planning, psychology, geography,
economics, engineering, or related social sciences).
The successful topic will aso be one which can be effectively supervised by
existing CTS staff. To this end applications should indicate how the
proposed topic complements existing CTS activities.
