Hello Alex -
I just completed my dissertation research at IDS on how to use participatory video to support marginalized groups in adapting to climate change. While it was a project for my Masters, I spent a year in the field in Nepal, which is more than many PhDs pursuits are able to spend. The project has been published in a couple academic journals (I have also included a list of links to those).
Please let me know if this is helpful.
All the best,
Tamara Plush

Hi Alex
You might be interested in the work of Su Braden (e.g. book for Oxfam,
Masters course run at Winchester and then Reading) and also her work with me
for Natural Resources Institute funded by the DFID Forestry Research
programme in Malawi, and also her training of ActionAid staff in Malawi and
Sierra Leone in this approach. She did her PhD at IDS a few years back so it
would be very worth reading that. I don't have her current contact details
(if anyone else has I would like to get in touch with her..). She worked for
many years in the UK using PV, (I think one place was Portsmouth..)
Best wishes
Valerie Nelson

Hello all,
I am currently writing a PhD on British Chinese Youth in the NE England and
am wondering if anyone else knows of, or is using PV in their research at
PhD level.
I am looking for examples to justify the approach more strongly.
Many thanks,
Alex Tan=
