I am a researcher in Particle Physics at the University of Birmingham
and work on one of the Large Hadron Collider experiments at CERN.
Our group is very active in Outreach work and I represent the UK on
the European Particle Physics Outreach group. At the upcoming Excite
meeting in Milan there will be a Particle Physics session on Thursday
4th June.
I have been asked to collect information on recent and planned
events and activities at Museums and Science centres in the UK
related to Particle Physics or Cosmology (including online lists).
Science communication colleagues suggested that this mailing list
would be a good way to collect this information efficiently from
specialists in this area.
If you can help me then please email me (and not the list)
at [log in to unmask] with any information on this topic.
Many thanks for your help
Peter Watkins
