The Centre for Film & Media Studies (CFMS) within the Faculty of
Humanities seeks to appoint a new member of staff, for appointment as
soon as possible.
This post is intended to strengthen the Centre in growth areas like
rhetoric and political communication, radio production, multi-media
production, screenwriting and advertising. Expertise in one or more of
these areas would be an advantage.
The successful candidates will be expected to undertake and supervise
research and creative projects.
Applicants must be in possession of a Masters degree. Progress towards
a PhD would be a strong recommendation. Experience in tertiary-level
teaching, and supervision of academic and creative projects is a
further perquisite, while industry experience will strengthen an
application.
The annual remuneration package, including benefits, is R332,221.
