Dear Colleagues,
The Ovid PsycINFO database is now returning results successfully.
Whilst I am pleased to report this to you, it is clear that the Ovid databases in general have been unstable of late, and whilst Ovid have rectified the current problem we consider that the PsycINFO service is unstable. Currently the search is returning results on all of the NHS Evidence Health Information Resources Advanced Search servers, but this may be intermittent while the root cause of the problem is being investigated. We hope to have normal service fully restored within the next hour.
AMED, BNI, EMBASE, HMIC and MEDLINE remain stable at present.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to you, and would like to assure you that we are liaising with Ovid's senior management to ensure systems are urgently implemented to mitigate against future disruptions of service for our users.
Kind regards,
Pauline
