for the WoK UK Regional Training have been organised. Details of these

Examine how to search for conference information and refine your
results by conference titles.
* Author or Editor?
Learn how you can now distinguish between both with a new search
field added to the Web of Science: Editor.
* Improved Citation mapping capabilities in the Web of Science.
Discover how to personalize your view of citation relationships with
enhanced citation mapping capabilities. Retain your preferred colours
settings after redrawing your map and select default colours for nodes.
* Funding Agencies, Grant Number and Funding acknowledgements now
appear in Web of Science records.
Learn how to search grant activity and funding acknowledgements in Web
of Science and see where funding money is going; what research has
been developed from a specific grant; and who is funding research at
your institution.
* Discover how to keep on track with your search strategy.
Refine, Analyse and Search within Results steps are now saved in
your search history.
* Examine new metrics added to JCR:
5 year Impact Factor, Rank in Category feature, Box Plot graphs,
Eigen Factor Score and Article Influence Score.
* Additional information fields added to ResearcherID.

Who is this course for?
These courses are for library and support staff. As this is not an
introductory course previous experience of the databases is advised.
Course materials and format.
The workshops will combine a mixture of presentations and structured
hands-on practical sessions; in addition there will be opportunities for
attendees to ask questions and provide feedback.
