Joint conference, organised by the Career Development Group and the 

Diversity Group of CILIP, in partnership with the Department of Applied Social 

Sciences, London Metropolitan University (as part of their consultation for the 

Library Skills for a Globalised World Project, funded by the Linking London 

Lifelong Learning Network).

16.40 -16.55 Closing Remarks: Shiraz Durrani, Senior Lecturer in 

Information Management, London Metropolitan University



Sessions will be presentation–based, with opportunity for delegates to share 

experiences and ask questions, and to vote for the best paper. The winner will 

receive £100 and a bottle of Sue Hill Fizz, generously sponsored by Sue Hill 

Recruitment 



A selection of papers will be published in the professional journals.
