Senior Library Marketing Manager - Oxford Journals
Oxford Journals is a Division of Oxford University Press, the world's largest and oldest university press. As a major international publisher of academic and research journals, we publish and develop some 240 titles, the majority in partnership with some of the world's most prestigious learned societies. We are currently looking for a proactive and talented Senior Library Marketing Manager to lead the development of our global library marketing strategy and deliver brand recognition for the division's products. We are looking for a candidate able to demonstrate marketing management experience at a senior level, ideally in the publishing sector. Responsibilities of the role will include:
* Strategic leadership of the global library marketing team in delivering a strong marketing strategy to meet targets set by the regional sales teams.
* Management of the implementation of the marketing mix, including emarketing, printed publicity, advertising, web updates and conferences to budget and on time.
* Influencing the development of web products to meet library customer needs and sales goals
* Management of staff based in Oxford
* An expectation to network and work closely with the library community, and make internal and external presentations on the library market.
* Some international travel will be involved.
Salary will be in the region of £35,000 (plus bonus) depending on skills and experience. The closing date is 26 May 2009.
