Hi markus,
With respect to dCache for SL5, I don't think there is a SL5-specific
version. Being java, dCache is supposed to run basically anywhere (I'm
pretty sure there are people running it in several other systems than SL).
One possible solution for this problem (while we wait for a certified
BDII for SL5) is to export the ldif information to the site BDII somehow
and integrate it as a gip provider. We do that by serving the ldif file
in dcache's web server and getting it with curl.
Cheers,
Antonio.
